Thanks so much for putting this together! Easy to understand and needs to be required curriculum at all colleges and universities around the world. Left brain = text Right brain = context If we are to solve todays and tomorrows problems we need to understand context and this is accomplished best through pictures.

Thanks Calcs — I like that: “text” vs “context”. (What a nice Vivid way to think about our split brain!)

I am using a stylus to draw on an iPad while watching the videos on a Google TV. It’s working quite well so far!

While going through your course I’ve chosen to use a Wacom Tablet Intuos5 – http://www.wacom.asia/intuos5 and the PC software I’m using is ArtRage – http://www.artrage.com/ The Wacom tablet works great with ArtRage.

The Vimeo videos load quickly and are easy to watch, however the other videos tend to load very slowly for me. :(

Actually the videos load quite well today. Not experiencing same problems as before.

I’m not sure what the problem might be: we’ve optimized all videos for fastest possible playback online. I suspect there is probably a bandwidth or speed issue with your modem/ISP. All I can suggest is find a WiFi connection, see if you can get a faster modem — or spend the down-time practicing your drawing! :-)

I’m not sure how else I can help.

      Thanks,
      Dan

Yup.. must be the crowded bandwidth in this crowded city of Jakarta, I found your video smoother during the night. Need lots of coffee to learn them.
Anyway, I never regret to subscribe. Great lesson from great teacher!

        Thanks!

Can we get this in MP4 format or in some DRM-restricted format? So I can watch Videos on my iPhone and draw the sketches using my Stylus on iPad using Paper app!?

Odd — the videos are all MP4 and we’ve tested them on iPad, iPad2, and iPhone. They play fine on this side. Can you try again and let me know if you have better luck?
